Rated 5 out of 5 by doodlemom3 Great purchase! I purchased this for my three Mini Aussiedoodle puppies. They are currently about 8 pounds each. I purchased both a large and a medium of this play pen. The medium is for car travel and fits in the back of my SUV. The large is set up in our living room. This pen has been a life saver. I can't let the puppies outside to do more than potty as it is winter and to cold for the puppies to play outside. I would say that this play pen would NOT work well for the weight it says it can accommodate. I would not put a 90lb dog in this play pen and expect it to last or keep them in unless they are very quiet. Pros: *Attached bottom so your dogs/puppies can't escape between the wall and the floor. This is hard to find and I purchased this pen because of this feature. *Well made and solid-even with three energetic puppies running around inside and jumping at the walls this has not flipped over or ripped from toenails. Sometimes they even run and jump all together to about 24 lbs hitting the side at the same time and still the pen doesn't do more than just give slightly. *Gives dogs/puppies a safe place to play without having to watch them constantly. Cons: *The bottom is NOT water proof or even water resistant. I was disappointed by this as I have to put something that is water proof underneath, in case of an accident. *At the bottom of each of the wall panels there is a place where the fabric edging comes together and the puppies like to work on it and chew at it. I think I have fixed the issue but it would be better if the fabric ends came together at the top rather than the bottom. Overall, I am very happy with this play pen and would recommend it to people with small to medium dogs and puppies. February 10, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Barb Perfect as a Dog Bed A year ago, we adopted an 8-week-old Papillon and purchased a small Pet Gear pen for him. We put a small dog bed in and some blankets and zipped him up. Never, ever have we had a puppy sleep through the night without a peep and never have we had a puppy not have to go potty through the night. We figured it was a fluke, we got lucky with our little Tuffy. Two weeks ago, we adopted a 4-month-old mini schnauzer, little Penny, and bought another Pet Gear pen for her. Same drill, same results. This pen seems to be heaven to a puppy. We've always crate trained my dogs and we've been owned by all breed types, from Chi's to Rottweilers. Never have we gotten such positive results as with this crate/pen. It's soft and snuggly, easy access to lift the pup out from the zipped top and when it's bedtime, let them enter on their own through the side door. SOOOO much better than the hard, cold metal crates. They are lightweight and easy to move when vacuuming. We would recommend without hesitation. September 1, 2015
